About the artist

I remember my very first project on my mom�s blue Singer sewing machine: a fabric envelope to hold tissue and other mysterious items in my mom�s purse. That was 20 years ago. She still has it, sap that she is!

My skills grew as I pursued new and exciting things to sew...Christmas stockings, place mats, that crazy outfit for Home Economics where I actually had to follow a pattern - blah! Prom dresses, cool curtains, quilts, pillows, an entire couch recovered, a few bridesmaids� dresses...the list goes on!

The transition to burp cloths and lovee blankets is a natural one, really just a combination of two of my favorite things: my kids and my sewing. I love being able to stay home with my kids during these first few years, but I also love the creative outlet Flutterbelle has given me. It is a wonderful fit in our family life.
